ABM Respiratory Care builds two airway clearance systems on one platform, for patients whose own cough cannot do the job. What the platform gives both of them is dual-path control: two separate air paths, one for inhalation and one for exhalation, each with its own blower and its own pressure and flow sensing.

BiWaze® Clear delivers oscillation lung expansion therapy. It combines three therapies in a session of about ten minutes — a programmed positive expiratory pressure to open and expand the airways, internal high-frequency oscillations with an expiratory flow bias to move mucus up toward the upper airways, and a nebulizer to deliver aerosolized saline.

BiWaze® Cough delivers mechanical insufflation-exsufflation for a weak or ineffective cough, with a dual-blower design that separates inhaled air from exhaled mucus, and programmable oscillations on the inhale, the exhale, or both.

Both systems weigh about nine pounds, run on an internal lithium-ion battery, and hold up to ten therapy profiles. Stellor Medical supports the line with literature, clinical evidence, patient material, and in-service training.
