A mechanical insufflation-exsufflation (MIE) system designed to support patients with a weak or ineffective cough.
The BiWaze Platform
Both BiWaze systems are built on a platform designed with two separate air paths — one for inhalation, one for exhalation. That is what lets each system control the two halves of a breath independently.
Electronic blowers independently generate positive and negative airflow for precise control.
Software algorithms dynamically control the blowers and the integrated valves.
Each pathway has sensors measuring pressure and flow to maintain the programmed therapy.
